Results against WillClan4Food
The match started with a few people having trouble loading the map and nervous talk from both sides. The Winged Warriors were not prepared for a 6v6 match as they had planned for a 4v4. But when the WillClan4Food fellows showed up it was apparent that we had enough players so that no one would get left out.
- This clanmatch started on Thursday, June 1st at 10:36pm central time.
- The total match duration including lobby time was 45min.
- There were a total of 3 games played in this match (2 CTF, & 1 Slayer).
- 12 players participated; 6 represented the Winged Warriors, 6 represented the Will Clan 4 Food.
Game I: MLG CTF Classic on Midship - Teamwork Works
The Winged Warriors anticipated this battle to see if all their practice had paid off. It was obvious from the beginning that teamwork was our greatest asset. At the beginning of the match the Winged Warriors split into two teams and pushed for the top of Midship. The push seemed to take WillClan4Food by surprise as the Warriors were able to hold them back at their base for 3 consequtive flag captures.
Near the middle of the game, after the Winged Warriors had taken the first three points and were pushing toward the enemy base for another capture, WCF RCCARGOD was able to sneak over to the Winged Warrior's home base and snag the flag. At that point the Warriors panicked at the thought of a come-back and rushed toward their stolen flag. It was during those moments that the WC4F team managed to kill many of the Winged Warriors and capture the flag.
After a quick flag capture the WC4F spirits were up and their guns were beginning to feel a little more comfortable in their hands. However, the Warriors regrouped and quickly got to the WC4F base and captured the final two flags. The WillClan4Food effort was formidable but the teamwork that won the game is visible in the stats; and because of it more than half of the Winged Warriors had double digit assists.

Game II: MLG Team Slayer on Zanzibar - Slaughter House
Following the sound victory on Midship the Winged Warriors were confident and excited to play another game. WillClan4Food had chosen capture the flag on Zanzibar but they changed it to team slayer on Zanzibar. They then substituted BIGTOE101 for Ranius and after that both teams were ready to begin.
At the start of the game the Winged Warriors spawned near the only two sniper rifles on the map and, after securing the long range rifles and rendezvousing at a place called "Camp Froman" they constructed their defense. The sniper rifles were great additions to their defensive strategy and the Winged Warriors quickly earned a large lead. XXmrbenXX racked up an impressive score of 16 kills with only 5 deaths which helped to hold the WillClan4Food team at bay and secure another victory.

Game III: 1 Flag CTF on Terminal - Three & Out
For the third game the Winged Warriors were the blue team which means that for the first round they would play offense against a WillClan4Food defense. Capitolizing on the element of surprise and the fact that WC4F had never seen the Warriors on this gametype before the Winged Warriors blitzed their positions. Holding nothing back bart 008 reached for the flag and was able to move it to where MASbetty took it all the way back to base. For the second round the Winged Warriors held a solid defense and kept the hungry gamers on the red team from scoring and just two minutes later they were at their blitzing tricks again. Two more flag captures and one hundred and twenty-six kills later the Winged Warriors ended the game, and the match with a rock solid performance.

Match Summary
Even though our match didn't make it to the planned five games we had a good time playing with the WillClan4Food squad. They are fun players to game with and they make a great clan to play against. WC4F put up a great fight and showed us how much spirit this clan really has. We hope to meet these boys on the battlefield again even if it's just in casual gameplay.

"Will Clan 4 Food is a Halo 2 clan that was started to give more mature players the opportunity to play with like-minded individuals. In our clan the focus isn't on winning every game, but rather having fun, and developing friendships that manifest into a more enjoyable experience for everyone. This is not to say that we aren't competitive. Many of our members are very good, but we never exclude or alienate those who get 2 kills and 10 deaths in a game."
