Winged Warriors Battle O7AH in a Halo 3 Rematch

Winged Warriors vs. Clan O7AH

   The first time our two clans met was on August 29, 2007 in Clan Match 25. The match went so well that we decided to set one for Halo 3. With that said, the teams were ready and the match was underway.

Game I - Lowball on The Pit

    The first game of the match was chosen by Clan O7AH. The entire game was a back and forth struggle for ball control. Each side had moments of utter domination as well as utter defeat. In the end the Winged Warriors were victorious 50-10. However, the final score in no way portrays the intensity and teamwork both teams brought to the battlefield.

Game II - Neutral Bomb on Standoff

    For the second game, the Winged Warriors decided to mix it up and play on one of the maps from the Heroic DLC. From start to finish, Clan O7AH dominated the map. The warthog team of Compton OTAH and Sugamayne O7AH picked the Winged Warriors apart, thus allowing O7AH to come away with two successful bomb plants. Only when the sound of the chain gun faded into the distance could the Winged Warriors successfully plant the bomb. In the final minutes O7AH with a 2-1 lead, more specifically Compton OTAH was able to sneak in the Winged Warriors base and successfully plant the bomb, thus giving O7AH their first win in the match.

Game II Stats

 

Game III - Multi-Flag on Rats Nest

    Going into game three the Winged Warriors were in a state of shock. Knowing how dominating O7AH could be with a warthog they decided to focus their attack on the center of the map. Their strategy was a success as they were able to capture two flags in the first minutes of the game. Then a long and intense battle broke out across the map as O7AH picked up the killing and took control. Now in the drivers seat, O7AH successfully captured three flags and pulled off one impressive comeback.

Game IV - Multi-Flag on Valhalla

    For game four the Winged Warriors decided to stay away from the new maps as much as possible, and decided to play a map from the time of the beta. Just like O7AH dominated with the hog in the previous games, WW Horizon took his seat in the banshee and rained down plasma on the enemy. With O7AH reeling from the banshee, the Warriors were able to rush their base, and successfully turn flag runs into captures. The match was now tied at two wins a piece and game five would decide the victor.

Game V - Team Slayer on Highground

    With the game on the line the Winged Warriors dug in for a long and intense battle. In the end the teamwork and timing of the Warriors allowed them to win by a margin of 10 kills, thus giving them the victory in game and the clan match.
