Winged Warriors vs. M80 Hawks

    A few weeks ago, we were challenged by a relatively new team in the Halo Community, M80 Hawks. In a few days a match was forged and by the time the match arrived both teams were ready to go.

Game I - MLG TS v5 on MLG Guardian v5

    M80 Hawks had the honor of selecting the first game in the match. From the start both teams came out firing, exchanging lead and kills. By the halfway mark the Winged Warrior's solid teamwork and clean up kills allowed them to achieve a solid lead. With lead in hand the Warriors ended the game with a 50-38 win.

Game II - MLG CTF v5 on MLG The Pit v5

    The Winged Warriors entered the second game looking to seal the victory in the match. From the initial rush, the Warriors were able to gain control of the rockets and the power-up and effectively push M80 Hawks back to their side. With control of the map, the Warriors were able to capture the flag twice. With defeat coming into view, M80 Hawks made all out rush and was able to pull the flag to their platform. However, the Winged Warriors were able to counter M80's capture and seal the victory in both the game and the match.

Game III - MLG Team Snipers on MLG Guardian v5

    With the victory sealed, the Warriors decided to give M80 Hawks the honor of selecting the final game. In the same manner as game one, the strong teamwork of the Warriors allowed them as XXmrbenXX stated at the beginning of the game, "Place the final nail in the coffin."

Summary
